 A man  is at the bottom of a 30 foot well. Every day  he  is able to climb up 3 feet, then immediately goes  down 2 feet. How many days  does he  take to get out of the well  ??

Answer: 

28 days . The man is climbing  at one foot per day , except on the 28Th  day the  man has already reached the top of the well, so he  will not slide down the 2 feet.

Here is explanation:-

1st day he climb 3 feet and fall in to the 2 feet so finally he is at 1 feet from the bottom .

2nd day again he climb 3 feet and goes down 2 feet (i.e from 1 feet to 4 feet and finally after goes down he is at 2 feet from the bottom.)

and so on 

28 th day he is at 30 feet
