Puzzle:-Farmer crossing the ganga river. 


A farmer wants to cross the ganga river and take with him a lion, a goat, and a cabbage. 

There is a boat that can fit himself plus either the lion, the goat, or the cabbage. 

If the lion and the goat are alone on one shore, the lion will eat the goat. If the goat and the cabbage are alone on the shore, the goat will eat the cabbage.
So the question is
How can the farmer bring the lion, the goat, and the cabbage across the river?

Answer :-
Firstly 

Farmer takes Goat across (leaving lion and Cabbage behind)
Farmer returns alone
2nd time 
Farmer takes lion across
Now 
Farmer returns with Goat(leaving lion behind) 

* We now have the Farmer, the Cabbage and the Goat on one side and the lion on the other side
Now 
Farmer takes Cabbage across
Farmer returns alone(lion and cabbage both are other side)
Finally
Farmer takes Goat across.
Now farmer, goat, lion, cabbage all are on side.
